ON-BOARD MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM

General features
AE MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM is a Passenger Information System (PIS) entirely developped by Aesys to provide on-board and real-time information about the bus line and destination (for example next-stop), the public service, and also to provide advertsing announcements.

The multimedia information system is based on full-color TFT display: a high resolution screen allows the visualization of brighter and clearer images than a traditional LCD monitor. TFT display has also an excellent readability and visibility from every position inside the bus.

Passenger information can be given as audiovisual images, very fluently, and can be also shown in different languages.
The on board multimedia system is appreciated by passengers, that are thereby encouraged to use public transit.

Technical features
Flexibility is the main feature of AE MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM: to satisfy every information needs the TFT display are available in different dimensions (15", 17", 20" etc.), supports (with or without bracket)
and configurations:

- single face display (TFT monoface)
- double face display (TFT biface)
- set of single face display side by side (TFT side by side)

Software
The management of the Passenger Information System is automatic and thus completely independent from driver. Both the route and public information can be shown automatically, at a local level, or in real-time through an operative office connected with different type of communications (WI-FI, GPRS, GSM, Ethernet etc.).
The system is controlled by a dedicated software, developped entirely by Aesys, called Multimedia Manager. By using this software it's possible to set all the passenger information system, to choose the images and the video to show on the display and to settle a sequence.
